About Patricia

Patricia Gardner led the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits from 2001 to 2019. Her depth of experience is focused in Policy, Advocacy and Leadership Development and Executive Coaching. She is a respected expert on the nonprofit sector. Her skills focus on supporting nonprofit and philanthropic organizations become stronger, smarter and more strategic.

Patricia has B.A. degree in Political Science from San Jose State University and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Public Administration from California State University East Bay.  She is an American Leadership Forum Senior Fellow Class XX.

She has spoken before numerous policymakers, elected officials and foundation leaders on nonprofit issues, governance and nonprofit contracting in Santa Clara County and Statewide.
